Privacy Policy

When you submit an inquiry via our contact form, we collect your name, email address, company name (optional), selected service area, project type, budget range, desired timeline, and message content to evaluate project fit and respond to your inquiry.

We may also collect standard server log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security monitoring and site performance troubleshooting.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address and the page you subscribed from, so that we can send you occasional updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.

If you apply for a role, the application you send us by email, including any CV, is held by us while we consider it.

Our staff hold administrative accounts on this site, for which we store an email address and a password hash. We never store a password itself.

Where a team member or a client is named on this site, we publish only what that person has agreed to publish.

If you accept optional analytics storage, we use Google Analytics to understand aggregate website usage, such as pages viewed, approximate geography, device type, browser, and referral source. We do not use advertising pixels or sell personal data.

Contact form submissions, including project type, budget range, and timeline, are used solely to respond to your inquiry and assess potential project fit. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Server log data is used to monitor uptime, detect security incidents, and improve site performance.

Newsletter addresses are used only to send you updates from us. We do not sell, rent or share them, and every email carries an unsubscribe link.

If you become a client, information you share during the engagement is governed by the terms of your agreement with RORO Digital Solutions Ltd.

Enquiries you submit are stored in our own database, which is our record of them. A copy may also be sent to us by email through a third-party form service (Web3Forms or Formspree) and may be routed to our team in Ghana and, where relevant, to RORO Technology LLC in the United States for project evaluation. Those providers maintain their own privacy policies. Our database is hosted outside Ghana by our infrastructure provider.

We implement industry-standard technical measures (HTTPS, security headers, access controls) to protect data in transit and at rest.

We retain enquiry data for up to 12 months unless an ongoing project relationship extends this period. We keep newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe, and we delete the record within 30 days of an unsubscribe request. Job applications sent to us by email are kept for 12 months.

We use browser local storage to remember your cookie-consent choice (key: roro_cookie_consent). This preference is stored on your device and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Google Analytics cookies and similar technologies may be used only after you accept optional analytics storage.

If you use our admin area, a separate session cookie may be set for authentication. That cookie is functional only and is not used for marketing.

You can clear local storage or cookies through your browser settings. Some interface preferences may reset if you do so.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you by contacting us via the methods listed below.

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR respectively.

RORO Digital Solutions Ltd is established in Ghana, so the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) applies to our processing of personal data. Your rights under that Act are set out above and you may also complain to the Data Protection Commission.

Our website contains links to RORO Technology LLC (rorotechnology.io) and other external sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites.

Our services are directed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
